The State Water Farm Waters of Poland, Regional Water Management Authority in Krakow, invites residents from flood-prone areas to discuss flood safety in the region. From November 29, 2024, to January 17, 2025, 5 meetings are planned. During this period, everyone interested can also submit proposals and comments on the consulted documents. We explain where and how you can do it. .
Where will the meetings take place?
5 consultation meetings have been planned. The invitation to these meetings is open, and admission is free.
December 9, 2024, at the Basztowy Hotel in Sandomierz, at 10:00 AM .
December 10, 2024, in the Dance Hall in Szczurowa, at 4:00 PM
December 11, 2024 in the Concert Hall of the Primary Music School in Koszyce,
at 4:00 PM
December 12, 2024, in the Village Hall in Przykop, Padew Narodowa commune, at 4:00 PM
January 14, 2025, in the Dance Hall in Szczurowa, at 4:00 PM
During the consultation meetings, the project for the program “Safe Vistula” and the environmental impact forecast will be presented. Experts who prepared the document will answer questions. During the meetings, it will be possible to review the documentation, which from November 29, 2024, to January 17, 2025, will be available at: www.bezpiecznawisla.pl/konsultacje
How, where, and until when can you submit proposals and comments?
Everyone can submit proposals and comments on the consulted documents. It is important to do so within the period from November 29, 2024, to January 17, 2025. To facilitate the process, several ways to submit proposals and comments are provided:
- via the online form available on the website www.bezpiecznawisla.pl/konsultacje
- electronically, by sending the completed comments and proposals form to: konsultacje@bezpiecznawisla.pl;
- by post, by sending the comments and proposals form to the State Water Farm Waters of Poland, Regional Water Management Authority in Krakow, ul. Marszałka J. Piłsudskiego 22, 31-109 Kraków, with the note “comments on the Action Program and the Environmental Impact Forecast – Task 5.7.2.” For comments and proposals submitted this way, the deadline will be considered met if they are sent no later than January 17, 2025.
- in person, in writing or orally for the record, at the location where the Action Program and Environmental Impact Forecast project is available:
- at the PGW Waters of Poland Regional Water Management Authority in Krakow, ul. Marszałka J. Piłsudskiego 22, 31-109 Kraków (3rd floor, room 317, phone 12-628-43-17, 12-628-43-25, on working days from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM),
- at the PGW Waters of Poland Regional Water Management Authority in Rzeszów, ul. Hanasiewicza 17B, 35-103 Rzeszów (2nd floor, room 18, phone 17-853-74-419, on working days from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM),
- during the consultation meetings in Sandomierz, Szczurowa, Koszyce, and Przykop.
Comments or proposals submitted after the consultation deadline will not be considered. The competent authority for reviewing the comments is the PGW Waters of Poland Regional Water Management Authority in Krakow.
The “Safe Vistula” project appears in official documents under the full name “Program of retention actions as part of flood risk management in the Upper Western Vistula and Upper Eastern Vistula water regions between Kraków and Zawichost.” Both the program project and the environmental impact forecast for it will be discussed during the consultations.
