The recent years clearly confirm the intensification of extreme phenomena (heavy rainfall, storms), which requires immediate actions aimed at minimizing risk and damage. Considering the well-being of society and the necessity of cooperation in the face of flood risk, Wody Polskie carry out various actions aimed at supporting local government units (JST) and local institutions in this regard.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"  id=\"row-986300888\">\n\n\n\t<div id=\"col-2141111456\" class=\"col medium-6 small-12 large-6\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the project &#8220;Retention Actions Program, an Element of Flood Risk Management in the Upper Western and Upper Eastern Vistula Region between Krak\u00f3w and Zawichost,&#8221; Within this variant, potential actions to reduce risk will also be analyzed, including green-blue infrastructure, de-sealing of paved surfaces, construction of retention tanks, and the use of channel retention in the stormwater drainage network. \u2013 realizowany dla zlewni na obszarze <strong>Nowego S\u0105cza, Rzeszowa i Kielc.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\"  id=\"row-391951289\">\n\n\n\t<div id=\"col-1265988995\" class=\"col small-12 large-12\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The results of these analyses will be made available to the cities for further use within their statutory activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It should be noted that Wody Polskie are also concurrently implementing the project &#8220;Development of a guide for identifying areas at risk of surface water flooding in urbanized areas,&#8221; aimed at developing standardized methods and tools for local government units (JST) to carry out activities and analyses related to urban flooding.
